We have been conditioned to trust our own understanding, follow our emotions, and depend on what we can see, feel, and reason out. The world teaches us to rely on human reasoning, logic, and natural knowledge—often leaving little room for faith and the leading of the Spirit.
The danger is that many believers don’t realize they are in a battle. We can reject God’s Word without realizing it because our reasoning, emotions, experiences, and senses have become our source of direction.
The serpent didn’t have to make Eve hate God. He simply got her to question what God said. The same battle continues today.
